Processing time depends on the nature of your project.<\/p>

For mastering, it takes approximately 48 hours for a stereo master and 72 hours for a streaming master.<\/p>

For mixing, the deadlines are more variable: it takes on average 5 days depending on the work to be done and the number of channels.<\/p><\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

It is entirely possible to get a free test for the mastering or stem mastering of your project. In the case of an album, the test is carried out on the title of your choice.<\/p>

To do this, please send your files via the Contact<\/b><\/a> page specifying that this is a test request, and providing as much detail as possible (sound sought, references, witness file). A one-minute sample will then be sent to you a few days later.<\/p>

On the other hand, test requests for mixing are not systematic and are studied on a case-by-case basis, depending on various parameters (total number of channels, seriousness of the project, work to be carried out). Indeed, mixing is a long and complex job which requires a certain involvement, and above all a lot of communication between the artist and the studio.<\/p>

When the mixing and\/or mastering of your project is done, the following files are sent to you:
\u2013 The HD master in session format (for example: 48 Khz 24 bits)
\u2013 The CD master format (44.1 Khz 16 bits)
\u2013 The unmastered mix in session format<\/p>

You can also order a DDP file, necessary for CD pressing, as well as an additional master optimized for streaming platforms.<\/p><\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

For several technical and ethical reasons, we do not send individual processed tracks.<\/p>

However, we can provide the stems, i.e. the groups of tracks (drums, bass, synths, guitars, vocals, etc.). A maximum of 8 stems is possible.<\/p>

It is possible to order a version optimized for streaming, online platforms having broadcast standards different from the CD format for example.<\/p>

To do this, add the \u201cExtra master for streaming\u201d option to the order. We advise you to tell us on which streaming services your titles will be broadcast. Depending on this, we will be able to offer you a version that suits your needs.<\/p><\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

Before sending your channels, it is essential to ensure that they are of good quality and that they do not saturate.<\/p>

Once you have finished recording, you need to export your channels, making sure they all start at the same time. For example, if an instrument starts playing at 1:30, you need to consolidate your track from the beginning of the song to when the instrument starts playing.<\/p><\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

If you mix yourself, some precautions should be taken before sending your mix for mastering.<\/p>

First of all, the mix must have a minimum headroom of 5dB to give us room to work. Choose a mix with a neutral tone, without excess in the bass and treble. Mastering will be used to refine the tone of the song.<\/p>

Don't normalize your mix or apply a limiter to it. You can use a bus compressor to \u201cglue\u201d the mix but very gently and using only certain models designed for this purpose (SSL Buss Compressor, API 2500, etc.). If you don't have this type of compressor or aren't sure what you're doing, it's best not to use one: we'll take care of it during mastering.<\/p>

In any case, if you have doubts about your mix, or if your listening environment does not allow you to detect some mixing errors, we strongly advise you to go with stem mastering.<\/p><\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

Stem mastering is ideal for artists working in home studios who have neither the listening environment nor the perspective necessary to detect possible mixing errors.<\/p>

The idea is to get your original mix back when importing the stems into our system. To do this, perform as many bounces as there are stems, isolating the channels concerned each time. Example: for a drum stem, you must \u201cbounce\u201d the mix by isolating all the drum tracks. Do not forget to also integrate the effects linked to the tracks concerned in the stem (reverb, delay, etc.). However, for the reverb, you can also create a stem reverb bus which will contain all the reverbs from the session.<\/p>

The type of stems depends on your project and musical style, so do not hesitate to contact us before sending us your files. We accept up to 8 stems per song.<\/p><\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

Mastering is too often seen as a \u201cmiracle\u201d cure for bad mixing. You should know that the aim of mastering is to optimize a good mix. It won't improve a bad mix.<\/p>

It is therefore crucial, before sending your mix for mastering, to ensure that it has been done properly (correct levels, balanced tonality, good placement of instruments, etc.).<\/p><\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

Yes of course! In all our mixing and mastering services, three sets of touch-ups are included. A set of touch-ups consists of a set of changes (example: drums to be raised, bass to be lowered, vocals to be brightened, etc.).<\/p>

If further modifications are still necessary after these sets of touch-ups, each additional set will be billed at \u20ac10. Please note, however, that as a general rule, after two setups of touch-ups, the projects are validated by the artists.<\/p>

Please note: if you send back a new mix or files and they are different from the original files, this will be billed as a set of touch-ups, even if you are still entitled to several sets of touch-ups for your song, given that we have to start work from scratch.<\/strong><\/em><\/p><\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t
